Kartoffelsalat

  • 7.5 cups peeled, diced, raw potatoes of the variety germany
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • A little freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped parsley to garnish

Add the diced potatoes in a saucepan and cover just mad water. Cook about 10 minutes or a stick is easy through. Turn off the water and put to one side to cool. Fry the bacon over medium heat until they are brown and kripiga. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside. Fry the chopped onion gently in the bacon fat into a beautiful, light brown color, without burning löken.Häll then vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper into the pan and bring to the boil. Add the potatoes and crumble half of the bacon in the pan. Mix gently and put into a serving bowl and garnish with the rest of the bacon, crumbled and chopped parsley. Serve hot!
